Aura Dance Crew Frame by Frame - DNA Kendrick Lamar

In partnership with Aura Dance Crew, a dance group based in Brooklyn we did a video and motion project focused around DNA by Kendrick Lamar. For this project we filmed across different locations in NYC, stitched the footage together and paired it with audio in After Effects and then exported it into Procreate to do 4000 frame by frame illustrations, lastly I brought it back into After Effects where I used the kaleidoscope feature to get the animated patterns that are synced with the audio and color palette of the footage.
